Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (Including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot, refrigerate leftovers. Immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Skillet: 1. Place bacon slices in unheated skillet. 2. Cook slowly over low heat, turning occasionally and draining excess drippings as needed. Microwave: 1. Arrange up to 12 bacon slices on a paper towel on microwave safe plate. Cover with paper towel to prevent spattering. 2. Microwave on high to desired crispness: 2 slices for 2 minutes. 4 slices for 3 to 3-1/2 minutes, 12 slices for 8 to 9 minutes. Conventional Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place desired number of bacon slices in shallow baking pan on broiler rack. 2. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or to desired crispness. No turning needed. Appliances vary. Heating times approximate.
