Green Beans and Almonds
Green Beans, Water, Roasted Almonds (Almonds, Canola and/or Safflower Oil), Salt, Baking Soda.
Must cook thoroughly - see cooking instructions. Directions: For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave: Recommended Method: 1. Remove almond packet. Place vegetable pouch, printed side up, on microwavable plate. Do not cut slit in pouch. 2. Microwave in high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Wattage (Wattages vary; adjust time for your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended): 1200; 3-1/2 to 4 min time on high. 1000; 4-1/2 to 5 min time on high. 700; 6 min. time on high. 3. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: Hot! Pull or cut to open. Empty into serving dish; stir in almonds. Important: Do not heat pouch in boiling water. Remove almonds. Heat 1/3 cup water to boiling in 1-quart saucepan; add contents of vegetable pouch. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium. Cover; cook 2 to 4 minutes, stirring often; drain. Add almonds. Keep frozen.
