Must cook thoroughly - See cook instructions. Directions: For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave: Recommended Method: 1. Remove pouch from carton. Place pouch, printed side up, on microwavable plate. Do not cut slit in pouch. 2. Microwave on high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Wattage (Wattages vary; adjust time for your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended): 1200 Watts: 5 to 5-1/2 min time on high. 1000 Watts: 5-1/2 to 6-1/2 min time on high; 700 Watts: 7-1/2 to 8 min. 3. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: Hot! Pull or cut to open. Empty into serving dish; stir. Stove-Top: Important: Do not heat pouch in boiling water. Empty contents of pouch into 2-quart nonstick saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon water. Cover, cook over medium heat 11 to 18 minutes, breaking up and stirring occasionally. Keep frozen.
