Small Whole Onion
Stovetop Cooking Instructions: 1. Place onions in saucepan. Add 3/4 cup water. (1/4 cup for half package). Bring water to a full boil over high heat. 2. Reduce heat to medium-high and cover. Cook for 6-7 minutes (4-5 minutes for half package), stirring occasionally; 3. Drain. Microwave Cooking Instructions: 1. Place onions in microwave safe dish; 2. Cover and microwave on high for 7-1/2 minutes (per 1200 watt microwave) (4 minutes [per 1200 watt microwave] for half package); stir halfway through cooking. 3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes after cooking (Stand time is important for food safety). 4. Drain. (Cook time based on 1200 watt microwave: cook time may need to be adjusted for your microwave). For Food Safety & Quality follow these instructions carefully: Keep frozen - do not thaw. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer taken in several spots.
